A bag of groceries.
No questions asked.
Every Saturday, we open our doors and give out food to anyone in our community who needs it. There is no application. There is no income check. There is no faith requirement. You come, we give. That's it.
What you'll typically find
Our pantry stocks vary week to week depending on donations and supply, but we work hard to make sure every visitor leaves with enough food for several meals. A typical bag includes:
Fresh Produce
Seasonal fruits and vegetables when available — onions, potatoes, bananas, apples, leafy greens.
Pantry Staples
Rice, pasta, dried beans, lentils, flour, oil, sugar, salt — the foundations of a home-cooked meal.
Canned Goods
Canned vegetables, beans, tomatoes, fish, and soups — shelf-stable for the weeks ahead.
Bread & Bakery
Fresh bread when donated by local bakeries — sliced bread, rolls, sometimes pastries.
Dairy & Eggs
Milk, eggs, and other refrigerated items when supply allows. Halal-certified when possible.
Halal Meat
When available, we distribute halal meat to families. Quantities are limited.
Note: Specific items vary each week based on what we receive. We do our best to provide a balanced bag of groceries.
Your first visit, step by step.
If you've never been to a food pantry before, the idea can feel intimidating. Here's exactly what happens.
Arrive
Come anytime between 10 AM and 1 PM on Saturday. Earlier in the window usually means more selection. There's no advantage to being first in line.
Wait briefly
You'll be greeted by a volunteer. You may need to wait a few minutes if it's busy. There's seating inside if you need it.
Receive your bag
A volunteer will hand you a bag (or several, depending on your family size). You don't choose individual items — bags are pre-prepared.
Go in peace
That's it. Take what you've been given. Come back next week if you need to. We'll be here.
What people often ask.
Do I need to be Muslim to use the pantry?
Do I need to bring ID or proof of need?
How often can I come?
Can I pick up food for someone else?
What if I can't make it on Saturday?
Is everything halal?
What should I bring?
Is there parking?
Three ways to keep this going.
The pantry runs entirely on donations and the time of volunteers. If you want to help our neighbors get fed, here's how.
Donate Food
Drop off non-perishables any weekday during open hours. We especially need rice, oil, canned proteins, and baby formula.
Call to arrange →Volunteer Saturday
We need 5-8 volunteers each Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM to sort donations, pack bags, and serve neighbors.
Sign up →Donate Funds
Cash donations let us buy fresh produce, halal meat, and items we run short on. Every dollar buys roughly two meals.
